Swimming Beaver by Ayla BOUVETTE, of First Nation Ancestry
 (see info below image)
Beaver in the Woodland Style by Artist Ayla Bouvette
The little Swimming Beaver in this painting bears the Heart Symbol I use to show we are all related to one another, all of us are in this life together, here to help one another. This Painting has touched many hearts with the colors of life, and the peace of the water in which he swims. I can feel my Native Ancestors smiling whenever I look at this image. Native American and First Nation history was forever altered when this little creature became the victim of avarice and ambition. There is no end to the stories and feeling that come to mind when looking at this painting for very long.

To paint an image such as this can become a very deep, spiritual experience, drawing inspiration from the world around us and the power of nature. This painting reflects my dedication to Native art themes, and the way in which animals are to be depicted with reverence and care as the paintings are created. I have put a significant amount of heart and effort into creating this particular painting.

I am pleased with the result. If you like the image and would enjoy using it privately, as a hanging print or desktop background for when you want a nice image before you load foxy bingo or to make a study of Native American or Metis art, then please do so. Any other usage may require my consent, so please do get in touch with me for my permission, which I have not yet been known to withhold..

Feel free to link me to any other art you may find - it's wonderful to share with Native American artists!!
