This Painting was done partially in Acrylic, that is why it has an appearance different than many of my Watercolors, and more like the "Honoring Norval Morrisseau" pieces. This was very obviously influenced by Morrisseau, and that is just what I wanted, as I was studying his work and the work of other Woodland Artists to find a vocabulary to speak my heart and Honor my own Native Grandmothers and my own Native American, First Nation, and Metis Heritage.
