Blue-eyed Chippewa by Ayla BOUVETTE, Metis of Native American Ancestry
(see
info below image)

Here we have a Native American man
with the Bluest Eyes!! This means he has Blue eyed folks on both of his
family, his Father's and Mother's . When Native Women began to attach
themselves to European men (or were taken by those men) in the Lake
Superior Basin, their children were considered "Indian", but as the
generations passed, and these mixed blood children intermarried with
one another, many European traits became more and more common. Now
days, it is not uncommon to see an American Indian with Blonde or Red
Hair and Blue eyes, and the same among Metis people also. I have Blue
Eyes and Native Heritage (see my
heritage here)
