As far as the Cavileer family goes I believe
grandfathers mother Mary Goudrie died 1878 when her last children,
Albert and Emma were quite young. I believe Albert was around 3 and the
Cavileer's took them in and raised them. Grandpa was 12 when his mother
died. Albert went on to be a very accomplished speed skater and once
race the great Norval Baptie.
